I hate to say it, but as a red head, there is one fashion rule that should always be followed.
Never, and I mean NEVER wear red, pink, or orange. And yes, that means your favorite red shirt, pink sweater, and orange shoes should never be worn, and definitely not together. But really, for the sake of looking a little bit fashionable, just don't do it, it looks bad, really really bad.
There is no arguing this fact. I cringe every time I see a red head in one of these colors, these colors just don't work for you. In fact, I kind of feel bad when red heads think they look good in it. You do not. Accept it and move on.
I get that it kind of stinks, there are some really cute red and pink things out there, but that's just the way it is. Life goes on, all the while you'll be looking a million times better thanks to this new found unasked for knowledge. And for that I say, you're welcome.
The only red I've ever owned was my car, and even then I questioned if, as a red head, that was an acceptable thing to do. I decided, it was.

Weekend Workout Series
I feel like I've stayed in vacation mode all week. My suitcase still isn't unpacked, my house is a little chaotic, and waking up in the morning has become increasingly more difficult than it already was. These things don't work well together.
Regardless, life still continues and workouts still must be done, although, I feel like I've somehow failed at both this week.
Here is a favorite workout for this weekend, and not because it's hard, but because unintentionally, this workout made me lose weight. What's not to love about that, right? It's all about interval training, and surprisingly enough, it makes your workout FLY by, even when with every second you're praying for it to be over.
Repeat 2-3 times. I've found this is the easiest way for me to get my four mile run in when I have to do it on the treadmill. Always switching it up makes for a quick workout, and the intervals make sure you get a good burn in. Want to run longer or shorter, just modify to fit your needs.
If you're not a runner, try this workout on the elliptical or bike, which ever machine is your favorite, I prefer the treadmill because I like to run...or at least that's what I tell myself so it gets done.

Maybe you'll like running more if you do it in a skirt? Have you seen Nike's running skirts? I spotted these at the outlet store a few weeks ago and I about died laughing when I saw them. But hey, if you need to feel pretty to run, I won't judge. Just remembering, it's ok to sweat!
