An Ode to my Mother

My Mom is one of my best friends.

I call her nearly every day,

just to chat,

to ask for her advice,

to listen to her chat,

or to get a good laugh in,

because I just never know what's going to come out of her mouth.

She always makes time for me,

which can sometime be a daunting task, I'm sure.

She's the most thoughtful and selfless person I know,

and I hope one day I can be half the Mom she is,

because she's simply amazing.
